Fashion photographer, Gerry Hanan, moved to Austin, Texas, from Ireland in 1995. Having always loved photography, he began to shoot in earnest when he purchased his first (what he thought) professional level camera. Sorely disappointed in the results, he then begged his wife to use the generosity of a large credit corporation to buy the real deal–a Canon 20D. It was from this moment on that he knew that he had talent and could have a professional photography career in the future. In his studio, he was able to study light, distance and focus. He became a member of many online communities to increase his knowledge and skill; and display his work, all the while becoming a name to be remembered. He has captured the interest of many big names in the industry, and continues to do so.
