Spy Kids 4 “All The Time in the World”, movie director Robert Rodriguez’s latest movie, had its Austin Red Carpet Premiere at The Long Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, August 13, 2011. Walking the red on the night were Robert Rodriguez, Alexa Vega, Daryl Sabara, Rowan Blanchard, Mason Cook, Chloe Bridges, Belle Solorzano, Jett Good, Tiger Darrow, Chuck Cureau, Carl Thiel and Elizabeth Avellán.
The movie opens August 19th and features 4d Aroma Scope, bringing the smells in the movie to the viewer.
The Long Center was not only the location from the premiere, but also was the location for the OSS head quarters in the movie. In addition to the red carpet appearances, and the screening of the premiere, there was a perfect space outdoors for the addition of the carnival for the kids who attended the premiere.
Also, walking the red carpet was local businessman and philanthropist Milton Verret with The Hungry Bunch. This teen program provides opportunities for teens who are on or off treatment for cancer, blood disorders, and dialysis to develop friendships with other teens experiencing similar health care experiences, to enjoy normal teen life activities, to learn about their illness and treatment, and to learn how to cope more effectively with their diagnosis. Milton recently made the winning bid of $1.8M for Michael Jackson’s red Jacket from Thriller. It will be on display in the Dell Children’s Hospital before going around the world on display.
