Fashion’s Night Out takes place all across the world. Here in NYC we had many neighborhoods across the city to choose from to be a part of this fun event.
It is a “global initiative created to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry’s economy, and put the fun back in shopping”.
As part of this event, the public mingle with designers, celebrities, models and fashion editors in special in-store events.
In our journey across the city we visited DKNY, Calvin Klein, Payless, Bloomingdale’s, Coach and Stewart Weitzman. While visiting these stores we saw actress Christina Ricci, NBA star Ben Gordon, and designers Christian Siriano, Isobel Toledo.
In Blomingdales, my friend Irish Rose from Austin Texas was there dressed as a Vegas Showgirl as part of their in store Vegas theme. She totally looked the part, and she insisted that my assistant Melissa try on the feathers :)
Calvin Klein had a live performance from musician Bryan Adams and a wonderful exhibition of his photography of models and stars and we saw model Karlie Kloss outside meeting fans
