Born in Sendai Japan, Tadashi moved to Los Angeles to attend college and in 1982 founded the label Tadashi Soji.
The format of the Tadashi Shoji show was something I had never seen in person before. Referred to by some as a display, the models are static and the audience walks around to view the designs from a much closer distance than usual.
We also saw Jojo, the recording artist with Universal Records, made an appearance to view the collection.
